PhD at Aix-Marseille Université (France). Postdoc at TU Delft (Netherlands).
I obtained a master in organic chemistry with a minor in biocatalysis at Nantes University. Really curious by nature, I did numerous interships each year of my cursus. Notably, I worked in public research (with microalgae) but also in companies such as Almac and Arkema. In the latter, I was in charge of the development the new group of biocatalysis.
Afterwards, I went to Aix-Marseille Université to make a PhD on sulfide oxidation catalysed by monooxygenases in the group of Veronique Alphand.
More recently, I joined Frank Hollmann’s group to develop oxidation reactions (catalysed by peroxygenases, in collaboration with Arkema) and processes using photodecarboxylases. Noticing the potential of these enzyme families, I made a step forward to develop HoliZyme.
I am passionate about sciences and innovation. My aim within HoliZyme is to develop and propose novel and/or alternive solutions to the chemical industry. Standing at the interface of chemistry, biology and computational sciences we target the developement of a fully integrated platform technology.
Beside sciences, I like to stay tuned with geopolitic and economicals news and I practice sport regularly.
